Does anyone know a store that sells "better" headphones such as sennheiser, grado, shure, etymotic, etc.... I really don't want to buy online, they take too long to ship and I'd rather buy at a store where I have receipt and can look at the headphone before buying...

just edit your posts to your liking

go to a bigger town and find some hifi-shops. they usually sell quite a few speaker/HT rigs. many also carry headphones, but most of the times they only carry 2 or 3 major brands. keep shopping until you find the headphones you're looking for so you can audition them.

I saw a cambridge soundworks store in a mall. had all of the sennheiser and grado line-up. Not sure if they had ear buds. Frys is a good place to look for headphones too.

I just called a cambridge soundworks store, and they say they don't carry headphones..

anyone know any other stores?

Although last time I was in their store was a couple of years ago and they were the less popular/obscure Sennheiser models.

Thats odd, When I went there they had the sr60, sr80, sr125 and most of the sennheiser lin-up up to the hd497. They let me try out all of them.

cambridge soundworks specializes in audio....dont know why they would not carry headphones.
