The subject is one of controversy from two sides. Some who believe yes, others no. Depending who replies will decide those opinions. Some say there are certain internals that need to settle or adapt as 'one' before a DAP comes to full potential. Others say there are parts that burn in but whether there's an audible difference is the question at stake.
I don't bother but I don't necessarily disbelieve either. You can either listen normally or charge / run your unit for xxx hours. Neithers going to hurt much nore effect your own conclusion.
