Hi all,
 
Just curious, anyone else wearing their open back cans outside?

I'm pretty much a tool and don't care - I even wear my HD 600 with a shorter cable straight out of E12. And seeing how I use headphones I'm kind of regretting buying the X2 as they're simply too huge for portable use, but I don't mind the leakage, unless I'm using public transportation or in an extremely noisy environment.
 
I'd like to have all of my gear portable, that's why I'll probably never go with Audeze or Hifiman HUGE type of stuff.
 
Anyone else doing this?

I have a pair of HiFiMAN--they are huge, no doubt. I generally don't take my open cans outdoors. I find the sounds from my outer environment leak too much through the open back and that it makes listening therefore difficult for me. Just my experience. I have no problem with anyone else taking theirs outside. It shouldn't be some kind of firm rule. To each her own.
