do you use ear cleaner (otoscope) sometimes for improved listening experience?

i read somewhere that some people use otoscope ear cleaner sometimes in order get better fitting of IEMs. people are telling there that the sound really improves and becomes as everything is "clean" now :).

do you have any experience with that?

There was a university study years ago. They found that ears got the cleanest washing with distilled water. I use on the outside of my ears stuff called Axe snake peel which is citrus based with a little aggregate in it. If you wash your hands with it you can't even pick up a dime, it cleans so well, even the oil on your skin is gone. That'll get your ears squeaky clean in the outside. Cheap too, it's so thick you can cut it with water and one big jug lasts forever.

i saw many times a report saying that q-tips are not good for your ears. so while reading about cleaning, i came across this device.

i prefer warm water as well, however, i just wanted to share my thoughts with you.
