Hello,

I've just seen this amp on ebay. amp
It seems to be one of the smallest I've seen.

Do you know if it is based on Cmoy, mini^3 or something else.

Oh, and it works with a 9V battery. It can't afford more power.

All the mint-tin amps I've seen are cMoys. Have you tried emailing the seller?

My ASltoids-tin cMoy BB v2.00 is officially a hit. Last night, a flight attendant was all over me, oohing and aahing over it. : ) I was using my Headsix, and she asked what it was. After talking for a few minutes, I opened my bag and showed her the cMoy. She went nuts.

hey thats pretty sweet amp. for some reason, i always love seeing these mint box amps. i find them really cool. it shows the creativeness of the maker and it adds some "fun" if u kinda get what i mean.

Yeah she showed him her cans AND let him touch them too. He even got to put them on his head. Mile high...oh man this is fun.

I have one of these from this seller - they are modded cMoy's there is a mod to cope with the LM6171 which is a difficult opamp - pretty decent sound actually - I got mine for $1.85 because it was in a rather strange case and nobody else bid on it.

What headphones did you try on it ?

Yep, I would happily have paid full price for it, feedback I have received from other members is that it is best suited to higher impedance headphones rather than low impedance headphones...

I used Sennheiser HD580 and AKG K501 - drives them both pretty well.
