Do too many "burn in" threads burn your brain out?

If people stopped repeating recorded information, then slowly, the volume of threads would go down, and things would be much less fun.

The more threads, the more info, the more I can find with "search".

Besides, the more people post, the more you can tease

I think the average newbie (like me) reads threads here and wonders What is the deal with the burning in. Reading some posts here made me think that burning in the headphones was like modding them with the pink noise to make them special. It's more like running around in new shoes until they don't squeak, it would happen anyway, you just want it to happen sooner.

I think a newbie headphone FAQ is a good idea. I put up with way too much of the "use the search you frickin newbie" over at Arstechnica, I like how very few people say that here, even though the same questions keep being asked. However, a sticky FAQ thread would be pretty cool.

Yeah we need to create many FAQs, because it really is FA... Any moderator want to take the burn-in FAQ? Looks like MacDEF took the Amp FAQ... I'd do it, but... I'm not a moderator... (yet
