Im considering buying the Porta Pros but do you think they are good for a "basshead"  If not what would you consider some of the best bass headphones (IEMS or over ear) for about $30 any feedback will be greatly appreciated thanks ~

I definitely would not say that the Porta Pros have hard hitting bass. They do have bass but it is more balanced so it would probably not satisfy a basshead.

The PortaPro's are known for their hard-hitting bass.  They're probably one of the most bass-driven phones around for a small portable of their type (ear-pad, old-Walkman-style).
