Do portable headphone prices get a big drop Black Friday and afterwards?

No. some popular mainstream headphones might be cheaper, but I wouldn't suggest to wait for a lighting/excellent deal.

Alternatively, you could subscribe to this thread and see if a good deal pops out but my humble opinion: buy headphones because you like the sound or looks and not because it's cheap.

Good headphones can last long and worth in some cases their prices in the long run.

Eh, I kind of like to "sport" shop. I get a kick out of scoring deals. Sennheiser and a few other brands have been posting discounts already on various social media channels, so I don't know if that is related to it being near the season or not. It could just be coincidence.

I was wondering if I should wait until the end of the month to start buying audio equipment.

Thanks.

Depends of the brand, some brands do deals and so, but is not THE discount of the year. If you see something now that is cheap and original, buy it now, because in the waiting for the Black Friday it may becomes more expensive.

There will definitely be sales on amazon and a lot of more consumer oriented brands. I feel like sennheiser always has a little bit of a sale.

Also the entire soul by ludacris line is around 70% off on amazon. I think theyre being discontinued. Not the most audiophile oriented brand but something to consider nonetheless

Hmm, I wonder if those will have any kind of collector value after they, if they are being, discontinued. Regardless, thats a big discount.

my only gripe with amperior and the 25 II is that they seem so uncomfortable to me...

for 150 bucks tho... that really is quite the steal!
