Hola head-fi. I'm new to the world of headphone amps (and head-fi, actually), so all that I know about the amps is pretty much that they push your headphones to limits they won't reach unassisted. The headphones I'd be using it with would be the ATH-M50's, and the only thing I really use headphones for is listening to music on an iPhone, on a Compaq laptop (iTunes), and when I use FL Studio or some other software like that on the same laptop aforementioned. I looked on amazon and all that i really saw was various versions of the Fiio E, but im not really sure which one would meet my needs, or even if their models are any good. I'm rather clueless on the subject, so ANY help is greatly appreciated. Thanks :D

A great amp for your needs is the pa2v2 by Electric Avenue. It his a powerful handmade amp by the owner of the company himself. It's highly portable and is recomended widely among audiophiles. it Is also at a very affordable price of around $50.

Hey HalfandHalf!

I have a FiiO E11 and it is an amazing little amp, check out these shootout's for an excellent review on a selection of amps.
