Hi all!
I have this strange question....
I've owned a set of Sennheiser HD-580s for quite some time (perhaps 20 years). I've always thought about them as the best headphones I've ever owned, but over time, I've stopped listening to them.
Lately, I mainly use my Sony MDR-1A, or Sennheiser Momentum, or HiFiMan 400s.
The thing is, I used my HD-580s again and I found them quite boring. No highs, no lows, too much midrange.
At this point, I don't know if the headphones have changed their sonic signature, or I got used ot other sheadphones...
So, do you think headphones sound different over time? Perhaps the magnets become weaker? Or something?
Thanks!
