I think I am going to return or sell my HifiMAN RE-252 and get the RE0 because my ears are too small and the 252's are very uncomfortable cause they are slightly too big (too bad cause I got them on the Black-Friday sale for $105 shipped and they sound astounding).
My question is before I do this are there any other tips I should/could try that may make them softer like complys if they fit?

You could always put complys in soft single flanges. It's worked for me pretty well.[/Q
sorry i dont understand? how can you put one tip in another tip. And your saying you do this with your re-252?

Er..
Basically, you strip out the inner tube from Complys, and then shove them into other single-flange tips. It looks pretty bad, but works reasonably well.

Also, I haven't received my RE252s yet, but the tip mod should still work fine.

Sony Hybrids fit. Soundmagic PL30 generic single/biflange tips fit. Comply T400s fit but come off just a little bit easier than I would like. Same goes for my de-cored Olives.

WOW. I just got 3 pairs of complys and they fit fine on it but boy does it change the sound signature (In my opinion not in a good way it muffles the sound and adds HUGE amounts of bass compared to what it had before)

Have you taken out the foam in the RE252s? really helps the sound. Also try sony hybrid tips.
