Do "Balanced Headphones" not work with "The Left/Right Balance"?

I have a Hidizs AP-80 Pro and ever since I've had it the balance as in L/R does not work properly with all "balanced" headphones tested, but works fine with the normal 3.5mm stereo jack.
Is this normal?
(I recently contacted Hidizs about this and they asked me to send them a video of the issue?)
