I have a Stellaris on the way and needless to say I’m extremely excited. I ordered it chiefly for my utopias but I’m hoping it will have enough current for my LCD-4s, which aren’t all that power hungry. Has anyone tried the LCD-4 with the Stellaris or even other DNA amps?

Congrats! I did the same, mainly for utopia but also D8kp and some senns.

When did you order? Just curious

I ordered in early September. I was told to expect to wait 18 months and out of the blue, only a month or so after ordering I was told that I could expect mine to be done soon. Who knows what happened?

It does a better job than other planar headphones and I think it’s because of the 200 ohms. Is it going to be moving fast like a dynamic driver such as a Utopia, nope, yet still an enjoyable listen. How on earth did you jump the line, know there are some folks who ordered well before September of this year and are waiting. Or did you order in September of 2022?

Not crazy about the tone of some of these posts. I didn’t “jump the line.” I got an email out of nowhere and I had nothing to do with it. If I had to guess, maybe I was the next person in line with the exact specs I ordered and someone cancelled their order. But I’m only guessing.

The pre pandemic wait times for Donald's amp ranges between 3-6 months and you got yours in about a month so it is surprising. I don't think they meant to accuse you of anything. Do post your impressions once you've spent meaningful time with it.

There was nothing in my tone other than curiosity, sorry you mistook it for something else. I responded to your question regarding the LCD-4, and if that was not helpful then please indicate that. Nothing wrong with the curiosity, I already have my DNA amp.

I have actually had it confirmed that the only reason I am early is because I was first in line for my particular configuration and someone else cancelled their order.

Congrats on that, I meant no ill will with “jumping the line” I totally understand he has separate lines for each configuration. If you don’t mind sharing which did you go with?

I wonder if there are comparisons between EC house sound vs DNA?
