Has anyone tried with DJ CD player using it as source or as a transport?

I like the models from Technics, Pioneer or Denon which offer many nice features. It's quite a solid player and therefore as a transport could be OK.

I can't help you much but I though i would add:

I was using a high-end Vestax player for awhile (that I got a good deal on second hand but I never did any critical listening on). While it was a quailty player I liked the performance of my Onkyo better.

Personally, I error on the side of a purist in that simpler is always better. The numerous electronics that make those players go backwards, and slower, and faster, and loop etc. can't been good for SQ. Just my thoughts.
