Probably a noob question , but does anyone know if putting Dual Opamps in place of the 5534's in this DAC will work? I know in the SVDAC06 they use Dual 5532's soldered into the board and that looks very similar to me...

5534s are singles, so a dual would not work just soldered in.

what's so bad about the NE5534? the application notes for TI's high end DAC's recommend using them for the active I/V.
