hi i currently have a Creative X fi xtrememusic, its ok but i want something that has a bit more. iv had a look around and saw these sound cardshttp://www.diyeden.com/Index.html
i cant read a word it says but from my knowledge those soundcards have good capacitors and opamps, but i know nothing about the envy24 and the wolfson chipsets. does anyone know anything about them? or actually have one?

also any other recommendations are welcome, internal and external(usb) sound cards.

thanks!

These cards look like fairly high-quality stuff. Don't think they're available outside China though, otherwise they'd be more well-known (they were new to me).

As for an upgrade from an X-Fi, the usual $100...200 suspects in terms of internal cards are: E-MU 0404 - ESI Juli@ - M-Audio Delta Audiophile 192 - E-MU 1212m. Especially for the E-MUs it's important that the +12V supply be relatively clean, so a good power supply preferably with split +12V rails is recommended.

I can read the language but there is no reviews.
From the price (1180Yen) it should be a very good sound card.
As comparison, the Zhaolu DAC 1.3 with headphone amp upgrade
is only 800Yen.

people talk about Zhaolu DAC here: http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=139545
