So I had the cable go out for the third time on one of my pairs of RE0s and decided enough is enough. I think I'm outside my warranty period so I might as well go ahead and try to fix these myself.
 
Can anyone tell me how to get the shell of the RE-series IEMs open so I can recable these suckers?

One side of my RE0s came apart by itself¹ a while back. From what I recall there wasn't any special locking mechanism keeping it together. I just used a tiny bit of super glue to put mine back together. I assume it was some sort of glue that was holding it together to begin with.
 
 
¹ Okay, so maybe my wearing them to bed on numerous occasions may have had something to do with it.
