When constructing your own power cable, assuming that the female plugs look identical and will plug into us products. does it matter if you use 10a 125v or 10a 250v IEC female plugs?

Thanks

10a 125v or 10a 250v ?

Does USA run on 10A too? That's strange I thought you ran higher then that. The 250v plugs will be able to stand twice the power through them. This only starts getting important for big poweramps. Just for the sake of it grab the larger one, better safe then sorry.

Also a 10A 125V I don't think would pass any european or australian safty standards.
