My first foray into audio electronics will serve as an introduction to the basics of circuits, soldering and the like that is inherent in producing an amp. My gear all require amps and later improved DACs. Currently, I have Swan Diva M200s (multimedia speakers) that were purchased in 2002. They sound wonderful, though underpowered. Similarly, I have a pair of German Maestro MB Quart QP 805. Currently they are driven by a San Disk clip! It would be nice to build a desktop amp and portable amp for the cans. At some point soon, all three of these will be completed by my own work. Which project is the most accessible to a n00b?
