Actually better than. (my opinion) especially when paired with
stax omega 2 headphones.
New ultra silly amp coming. 2 x 6dj8 plus 8 x mosfet plus 4 x
6ca7 per channel. 100 watts standing power per channel.
The worlds most inefficient headphone amp. DC in to out.
250 volts/usec slew rate (into 500pf load). 5 different power
supply voltages. Cascode differential input stage. Cascode
grounded grid differential output stage.
Only second audio amp in the world to use grounded grid
output stage.

Has anyone other than yourself tried to bulid these amps? They look like they would be somewhat hard to make.

2x 6DJ8 + 8x MOSFET + 4x 6CA7 per channel. Sounds like a Stax SRM-T2 on steroids. Nice. I'll have to send my all-valve amp to the gym. ray.

first stage very similar.
second stage not at all the same. Don't like zeners in the audio path.
third stage similar except cascode and 4 times the standing
power.
all power supply circuits are regulated.
Ever seen a conrad johnson tube amp. Mine is going to
be about that big.
