I was just wondering how the DIY dac offerings compare to their commercial brethren. Specifically how the Monica 2 compares to something like the Storm D02 as they are based off of the similar TDA1545 and TDA1543 respectivly. Is it the same as with DIY amps where you get much more for your money going the DIY route or is it just more fun?
