What do you think is the optimal level of shielding for an interconnect cable? I've heard people say that you're best off with none, and others saying that it can only help. If you had a choice betweed the following, which would you choose?

* Unshielded.
* One shield layer over all the wires
* Each wire individually shielded
* Each wire individually shielded plus a shield over all wires.

Also does anyone know of anywhere where I can read about the theories of cable design?

Also which RCA plugs would you recommend? I'm treating this as pretty much a money-no-object project, so i'm currently looking at Eichmann Silver Bullets and WBT Nextgen Signature...
