Hello Head-fiers,
 
Over the past year my brother and i have really gotten into hi-fi audio.  With my dads birthday coming up we had the brilliant idea of building a pair of headphones for him.  Honestly, mybrother an I have no idea where to start. Is there anyone out there who can help us (pretty mich step by step), and if not does anyone have advice on where to start.
 
ps
we also want to braid our own cable so if anyone has advice on that also
