Maybe someone has already done this, maybe not.
I don't like clutter on my desk so I didn't want to have a banana hanger or something always staring at my face.  I didn't want to put the phones in the drawer because I would be constantly pinching the cables when closing it, or I would have to disconnect every time.  I decided to lengthen one of the drawer knobs and use it as a hanger instead.
Materials were all from home depot (fasteners isle) with a $4 total cost:
1 - 12" #8 machine screw rod
1 - #8 nut
2 - washer
1 - 1/4" x 2" metal sleve
1 - shrink tubing

Most knobs are #8, but you would want to bring the old screw with you.
Put the washer on, then the sleeve.  Screw the knob on the end and put a washer and nut on the inside of the drawer to hold it tight.  I plan on cutting off the excess with a dremel tomorrow.  Enjoy a clean, integrated, clutter free headphone hanger for your traditional desk.
