I currently have a PPA V2 powered by a STEPS v1.2 PSU.
I'm wondering if there is any new DIY amps that have come out that are markedly better? Ideally a 3 channel design.
Or is the PPA V2 still a high performing headphone amp? I feel the STEPS power supply could be holding it back, since I've read on other forums it is actually quite a noisy design.
Anybody have any good recommendations? Keep the PPA? Replace the STEPS? Build a whole new combo?
