Hi!
 
Been wondering a way to make my own graphic equalizer...  (5-band could be enough, 10-band would be waaay better

)
 
Any thoughts or ideas you would like to share?
I found 2 or 3 projects online but all of them have hard to find IC's...
 
Anyway the purpose is to use it with my amp, turntable, cd player, etc...

Here are two different schematics I found when I was looking around a month or two ago.  One is ten band, the other can be fit to as many bands as you like. Both the opamps used in those projects are pretty easy to find (as are replacements).  The only problem is I don't believe there are boards available for these projects so you'll need to make your own.  Hope this helps

I would consider adding in some level meters for input and output.  You can find those boards or designs out there easily.  This way you can monitor the signal and make sure it is not clipping...

Keep in mind that if you want this, the relevant factor is Vpp and not Vrms or any other integrated value.
