Hi, I'm looking for a DIY DAC that has an optical input. From the

...it looks like the HiFidiy Mini TDA1543 DAC is an option, but it
apparently has some major limitations, being a NOS DAC:

Are there any other good DIY DACs with optical inputs out there? Some
community project like the Alien DAC with an optical in would be
ideal.

Twisted Pear has a Toslink to sp/dif board that you can probably graft onto another dac with a sp/dif receiver. Or build the Opus DAC itself.
