back to the DIY + cryo idea:
how about a "low temp" amp that has just enough power to push high sensitivity IEM's. Say, a one stage current buffer board that is chilled in dry-ice in a thermo box, running off battery power (batteries stay outside of the dry-ice box, of course).

A 2 stage tec will get you to -60c

A lot of parts won't work at these temperatures
