Hello, first of all i am soon to start making cables and recabling my headphones. I have been advised to have a look at Redco which have good prices and stock Mogami/Canare cables with decent shipping costs but im worried about any custom fees when arriving at the UK

To avoid any risk of custom fees i have been looking at the Canford website which stock Canare but the over all price will be nearly double that of Redco
OR the HHB website that stocks Mogami cables at also a high price.

It would be ideal if i could buy from Redco and not have to worry but i have had bad luck with customs in the past.
Has anyone had any experience with this? Or does anyone have any other suggestions?

Im looking at buying the Mogami 2534 or Canare L46ES...is the Mogami worth double the price? or are there any other cheap recommendations?

I feel so unlucky living in the UK with prices almost reaching double.

Best UK place I know for DIY cable supplies is Toxic Cables
 http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Toxic-Cables/_i.html?rt=nc&_sid=161256920&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1581&_pgn=2

They don't do Mogami or Canare but their own brand wires are second to none in terms of quality and price.

yea i was going to buy toxic cables but then i realised i would need to buy 4 lengths of 1.5m to make my cable...so thats like £24 for the cable itself vs £2.50 for same length from mogami...
for my first cable im going to keep it cheap, but i def plan on using toxic cables in the future!
