Dissapointed by my new Oppo's PM3, what are my options?

I have been listening to the oppo pm-3 for the last couple of days.
They sound very neutral, kinda flat and a tad boring straight from a phone. On the other hand obviously highly detailed. But very good SQ. But then I put them on an HA-2se. To me, it made a big difference. Since it is a very accurate headphone to begin with, the amp/made it a lot livelier and engaging. Liked it a lot.
