Hey guys,
I'm a new Head-Fi(er) here, and I recently purchased a pair of Grado RS1i. I mainly listen to FLAC files via my computer.
I also have a pair of Swan M60W 5.1 Surround Speakers (info and specs here: http://www.swanspeaker.com/product/htm/view.asp?id=438).
My current setup is this soundcard: http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Blaster-Gaming-Control-SB1506/dp/B009XDWUCQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1399850341&sr=1-1&keywords=creative
Plus this Creative Decoder: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883103401 (I think its out of print now).
Here is my dilemma:
I'm afraid of my equipment going kaput soon (the decoder is super hard to find) and I want to be able to drive both of them. Since I have surround sound speakers I can't figure out what to buy as a DAC/AMP combo. Any suggestions? Price range under 2k.
