Hello.
If I may ask quick question. I am looking for piece of hardware (like an adapter or grabber) or a software application (for PC or Mac) that is able to emulate the external DAC while running on the computer. So when I hookup external digital audio streamer source via USB to that computer, I can capture and store the audio stream onto the disk.
I am referring strictly to USB connection and digital audio stream, not analog capture.
A friend told me Audacity software can do that but so far I failed to set up Audacity to mimic the DAC to make my Internet radio USB streamer into believing it's feeding the DAC on the PC.
I also saw some folks use Raspberry Pi for doing this but it requires Python language skills which is something I am trying to avoid.
Suggestion are much appreciated. Thank you.
