I bought all this gear (DAC, Amp, Headphones) so that I could listen to music in the corner of my room.  Then I learned that the iPhone 5 can't do digital out.  So I can't hook up my iPhone 5 to the DAC I bought (which accepts a USB in).  I don't want to have to drag my laptop over and hook it up every time.  Ideally I'd like something I could control from my iPhone.  It'd be cool if there was something that worked with AirPlay.  Other ideas would be a cheap tablet.  I also have a Raspberry Pi hanging around, but  I'm not sure if it does digital audio out.  What do you guys do here?
 
It'd be sweet if I could get digital audio out (over usb) from the Nexus 7.
