Just a quick, obsessive compulsive, question. Is it me, or are there varying thicknesses of the Grado bowl pads? I have a pair of 125's and just got the MS-2i's. I assumed they would have identical bowl pads, but the ones on the MS-2i's are definitely "thinner." I'm measuring the the "layered" portion of the foam, not the diameter of the circle.
I would assume my older 125's would be thinner, given the compression effect of being pressed against my ears, but that's not the case. Anyway, just thought I'd throw it out there.
