Is it possible to change the tube in the Peachtree Nova to a different, better sounding one?  I'm not having problems with the factory installed tube, just wondering if I can make the Nova sound even better.

Sure can. A place near me is selling the Nova with what they call an 'upgrade Amperex tube', so I would imagine you can swap it out at will, provided it is compatible.

The Amperex tube is a 6922 tube, which is the one that the Nova uses.  The Amperex tube is available here for $50, which I don't think is that expensive for a upgrade. 
 
So I can just swap it with any 6922 tube?  Any specific recommendations?
