I know that 75's got the same driver as Porta Pro, what about 35 ?? Are there any major differences apart from the look ??

The 75's use a titanium coated driver. The 35's don't.
The 75's treble has a sparkle to it that the 35's don't. The 35's have stronger bass, at least partly because their clips press the drivers more firmly against one's ears than the 75's do.

i hear the ksc35 has an overall "darker" sound than the ksc75 as well

From what I have heard, the KSC75's sound better, albiet with less bass (as explained above, due to the clips). AFAIK, the 75's are held to be one of the best sounding portable 'phones for the price
