hi just wondering if anyone could tell me what the differences are, i understnad one is a budget version of the other, but what are the actual differences? especially sound. thanks

Oh, let me add that Ive owned the SP version and its inferior. Simple and plain.

thanks man. saved me, was about to buy the Sp's on sale which i didnt really need becuase of all the great things i heard about the more expensive version.

Glad I could help. Strange to some but I actually liked the SP version better then Grado SR-60. In my opinion they were an upgrade. Then came the HD25-1 II along and again it was an upgrade. Its worth the money. Enjoy.
