I need to replace the pot in my amp. Printed on it is A100k and it's dual taper (I think.) The only problem is it seems B100k pots are much more readily available. Would using a dual taper B100k in place of the A be an issue?

A quick Google says that A100k is an audio taper, and a b100k is a linear taper. Other than that, I'm not sure what the difference would be or if they are interchangeable.
