Is there a really big difference between the ad500 and ad700 in quality? I am going to be using the headphones for gaming. Right now I only have enough for the ad500. Is the difference in quality that big that I should save up more for the ad700?

I'm not a gamer but I do have the AD700s and like them almost as much as my MS1s but I've never heard the AD500s. Here interest in the AD series starts with the AD700, takes a lesser interest in the AD900, skips the AD1000 and becomes more focused on the AD2000s. If you can afford the AD500s buy them and tell us what you think.

From what I've read its the cable. Also I forget which site I was looking at but it listed the specific differences between all the AT headphones. Either way you cant go wrong with getting either.
