Did you guys love the sound signature of your favorite earphones/headphones at first? I remember when I first unboxed the Shure SE530's after getting them from the FedEX delivery guy. I put them in my ear and hit play and......."Wow......I just got ripped off for $300". 3 weeks later I grew to appreciate the detail this earphones had to offer. Now it's torture going back to anything else. That's one huge downside of the Shure SE530's....they are truly not wowable at first listen. You need to let them grown on you and then you will appreciate them. It's always those earphones or headphones that wow you on first listen that cause an annoyance later on. The earphones or headphones that seem plain or boring at first listen will wow you later on...It's like when I boost them treble on my laptop.....It's a wow experience for about 15 mins.....then I want to rip my 530s out of my ears.....I see what Shure was getting at with the lower volume treble.
