Funny, but I always got the impression Silver color sounds brighter even before I heard it, psychological effect

My thoughts exactly. I feel like I need a good excuse to spend a fair chunk of change on more headphones and a quality DAC... winning a $2,000 amp is pretty much the best excuse there is for such financial irresponsibility.

The SPL Phonitor giveaway contest is now OFFICIALLY CLOSED. Any shouts coming in (both on Facebook and Twitter) after July 15 at 12:00pm (Pacific Time) will unfortunately not be considered.
