Alex

I just moved to Frisco and would love to attend. I don't have any headphones/amps to bring, but I can bring my best selection of cd's and I'll gladly help set up. Thanks for organizing this meet!

Sweet, ain't she?

God, that thing is a mess! I guess it all depends upon what you want. The ES-1 is the tough guy with a heart of gold. That amp is pure criminal, through and through.

syd968 - trust me, you needn't bring a thing to be more than welcome! There's plenty of gear to go around.

syd968 - I hope you find something you like at the meet.

The 650 cable is done and ready for action. The cable will have no burn in (if you believe in it or not) but it will be there. Now to get everything else done in time.

just out of curiosity, anyone coming to the meet that is pretty familiar with foobar? If so would you mind helping me get setup? if so can you point out what I need to DL before getting there. Thanks. I'm bringing my laptop as well as my digital music collection.

I use foobar. I might be able to help you out. Just get foobar and asio.

First get this:
http://www.foobar2000.org/foobar2000_0.9.2.exe

Then get this:
http://www.foobar2000.org/components/foo_out_asio.zip

That is basically all you need, unless you're using ALAC or Monkey's Audio for your music collection, and then you'll need plugins for those:

Alex - the Accustic Arts CDP will be in attendance tomorrow! It arrived today, safe and sound.

I'll probably leave the Musical Fidelity X-DACv3 here, unless someone would like to audition it.

You'll be missed, I_D! I, too, am reluctant to transport my rig - and I'm only a short car ride from the meet.

Drop me a pm sometime and let me know what's up in your world.

Another source will be at the meet.

All I have left is finish up a few players and I will be good enough to be at the meet.

The player I will be bringing has the same Philips player unit as in that CDP.
