I just found this band a few weeks ago and have been quite impressed.

I highly reccomend them, my favorate album is una volta. Think what arcade fire would sound like if they had a baby with a eastern european folk band.

Hehe I was thinking more like Kaizers Orchestra, but then again I've only heard a few songs. Do you have the How It Ends album?

I'm actually just giving it a first listen. It's definately a different sound than una volta, (and more akin to your description). It has less of a bar-folk sound than it's predecessor.

I saw this band live, opening for M. Ward. They were really, really good.

I don't know why I've waited to get an album or two of theirs, but I think I will now.

I'm told it also means "hot girl" in the slang language of A Clockwork Orange.
