Color me impressed, this is probable the first time I've been impressed the by the specs alone of an amplifier, the Devialet D-Premier.

  1. MAXIMUM POWER: 2x240W
  2. SPEAKER IMPEDANCE RANGE: 8 TO 2 ohm
  3. D/A CONVERTER T.I. PCM 1792
  4. THD+N AT FULL POWER: 0.001%
  5. IMD SMTPE: 0.001%
  6. SNR: 130 dB UNWEIGHTED
  7. THERMAL DISTORTION: UNMEASURABLE
  8. OUTPUT IMPEDANCE < 0.001 ohm

That's crazy, it's like the output of a DAC, not an amplifier!!!

More general specs, now

  1. 2* PHONO INPUTS MC/MM
  2. 2* RCA ANALOG INPUTS
  3. 2 TOSLINK® OPTICAL INPUTS
  4. 4* RCA S/PDIF DIGITAL INPUTS
  5. 1 XLR AES/EBU DIGITAL INPUT
  6. 1 HDMI® 1.3 INPUT & 1 OUTPUT
  7. 1* RCA ANALOG/DIGITAL 2.1 OUTPUT — FOR SUBWOOFERS
  8. 4 UNIVERSAL LOUDSPEAKERS OUTPUT TERMINALS
  9. 1 RS-232 PORT — HOME AUTOMATION
  10. 1 TRIGGER INPUT & 1 OUPUT — FOR CHAINED COMPONENTS, EXTERNAL REMOTE IR FLASHERS/SENSORS
  11. INTERNAL IR SENSOR — COMPATIBLE WITH UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROLS
  12. 180 DPI COLOR SCREEN
  13. 1 SD CARD SLOT — FOR THE CONFIGURATION OF THE AMPLIFIER
  14. 600W SWITCHED-MODE POWER SUPPLY
  15. EFFICIENCY > 85%
  16. SLEEP MODE POWER CONSUMPTION: < 5W
  17. * OVER A TOTAL OF 6 CONFIGURABLE RCA CONNECTORS
  18. OVERALL DIMENSIONS: 400x400x44.5mm — CARVED OUT ALUMINUM BOX — WEIGHT: 6.9 kg
  19. POWER SUPPLIED BY 2 AAA BATTERIES LR03 1.5V — AVERAGE AUTONOMY: > 2 YEARS
  20. RADIO TRANSMISSION WITH THE AMPLIFIER — MULTIDIRECTIONAL CONTROL
  21. VOLUME CONTROL BY DIGITAL POTENd — premier AMPLIFIER
  22. iNTEGRATED PREAMPLIFIER AND D/A CONVERTER

And it works best with digital inputs. But the specs are probably moots if it sounds bad, right? Well, the first reviews have been really positive (see the press section of the official website).
Now the little beast:

And now the really big caveat, it's MRSP ... > 10000 €.

EDIT: I'm aware I am a bit raving , but it's the first time I saw that kind of specs, and it even seems to sound good
