I am looking for recommendations and advice. I have an RME ADI 2 but do not use it as much because I need something more portable to drive a Denon 9200 and an LCD MX4. I don’t need a lot of power, but I do want an equalizer at minimum and Bluetooth would be a bonus. And the question is, if I sell the RME and devote $1500 to a dap or portable amp, could I find something that I won’t be disappointed with to use both portable and as an occasional desktop? If it’s an amp, it would connected to an iPhone.
Otherwise, I would just spend $400 and look at a hiby or FIIO. Thanks!
