Hi all,
I would like to get a tube setup for my desktop and was wondering what one would suggest to me, anything under £1000
I have actually been looking at the Ifi Pro, so could push to that... Even tho I need a DAC.
I currently have a Burson Conductor which is an older Burson model, not the latest Conductors.
Its a 2 in 1, and I cant use it as an external DAC. So I would be looking to get a DAC aswell within that 1000 budget.
DAC wise, I was thinking of Schits Modi uber 2, and the Wyrd combo.
The headphones that I own and use with the Burson, are Audeze LCD-X.
I am also looking to get some good IEMs, so that is something I will want to take into account to be used with the tube setup.
Please do note, I am from the UK so am limited in choices.
I am really interested in the Woo line, for instance WA6, WA7, WA8, however as there are no Uk dealers, I cant get a Woo product unless I man-up to an import charge sting.
I am also considering a portable setup, maybe something tube based there?
The Alo CDM is something I would also be very interested in purchasing, however no Uk dealers.
