I'm looking for a decent pair of desktop speakers under 500. They would have to be compact enough to sit on a desk without being intrusive. I'd mostly be using it to play video games with my friends. I have a D90 and A90 (I know the a90 isn't great for speakers but again I'm not planning on powering anything huge). Online it's mostly name brand stuff like Bose and Audio engine but if this community has taught me anything it's don't buy big name stuff. I'd prefer if they were closer to $300 but $500 is my upper limit.
