Until recently I've had a pair of Edifier R1600TIII. I've been quite happy with them as far as overall usability goes, but they're broken beyond repair (mishap during house move). I could just go and buy the R1700DB model but it's been a while since I bought speakers so there could be an alternative that would be better for me. Sadly, I can only fit one set of speakers in my living room setup so I need them to be quite versatile.
Could you please recommend me alternatives or reassure me that indeed R1700DB is what I should be looking at?

Main use: main multimedia speaker for games music and movies.
Positioning: desktop, 1.5m separation. I'm usually listening while at the desk or on a sofa 3m away from the desk.
Source: PC integrated audio (for now, I've got a premium MSI motherboard), potentially through SPDIF, next year I might buy Audioengine D1.
Other: I kinda want Bluetooth, but it's not a must. 2.0 and wooden bookshelf design would be a plus.

BUDGET: up to £200 (I'm in the UK), unless best value for money is just above.
