Hey all

I currently have an HRT MusicStreamer II > HK 3490 that feeds my speakers and a Fiio E17 directly connected to USB that feeds my AKG Q701s.  The mandatory Dolby processing from the headphone jack on my HK 3490 sounds artificial, I avoid it altogether.  The Fiio sounds decent, but doesn't provide nearly enough power.  I have max volume on my source, the Fiio gain set to +12, bass at +4, and volume set to 60.  Still not enough juice, and I'd like to bring these cans to potential.

Would like to go tube or hybrid in the $100-150 range, something that would be a good match for Q701s.  Portability and size is not a factor, nor is a built-in DAC as I would use an RCA splitter on my MusicStreamer to send signal to both my HK and my headphone amp.  I listen to a wide range of rock, electronic, hip hop.  Not up for doing mods that involve soldering but definitely open to plug and play mods.

Right now I'm considering Bravo V2/Ocean, Schiit Vali, and Little Dot I+ 6JI X2.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!
