Hello Head-Fi,

Everytime I turn on my desk lamp (fluorescent I believe), my Audio-gd FUN amp dies and sort of "flickers" for a few seconds and USUALLY fixes itself (sometimes a power cycle is necessary).

They are connected to the same outlet, and sometimes the outlet makes buzzing noises.

Should I invest in AC Line Conditioners? (preferably looking for a cheap solution)

Thanks

Solutions:
a] A new desk lamp.
b] Try connecting the lamp to a different circuit.

Does the lamp have a wall-wart?
The problem should be connected at the source.
A power conditioner is just a band-aid and it can't be placed at the correct position.
